Dell True Mobile 2300

Question

I had my networking working - but moved locations and now the network is not working     Here is what is happening.   I have a workgroup - I have 4 computers in the workgroup.   The main computer - the one wired to the router is able to map to the other computers but if I try to use the workgroup icon in the my network area I am said I don't have permission.   Using the workgroup icon in the my network area the other 3 computers can see each other and access the shared files on those computers but they cannot get to the main computer - again they are told they don't have access.    I have been poking aroudn everywhere trying to figure this out and have decided it is probably some check box on some remote window that I can't find!   Any help would be appreciated - I am not a huge techie person - but I know enough to get around.   I can pink the other IP address from teh main computer but the other computers cannot pink the main computer.   THANKS!

I got it - it was my norton firewall - after hours of pulling my hair out!

hi what version of Norton Firewall ??? 2003 2004 2005 2006

06 - I added my IP's as trusted and that did the trick!
