Dell wireless router

ok so in april 2005 i bought a dell inspiron and a dell wireless router a/b/g. My laptop recently just broke down but i also have an imac. Now all of the sudden the wireless router won't transmit anymore. I have the ethernet cable in my imac connected to the router and the router to my broadband router. My imac gets fine internet but if i unplug it and go wireless i don't get any internet. On the router the internet light is flickering and the LAN 1 is lit but the wireless light isn't. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and the wireless light lit up for a second but then turned off again. Do i have to get a new wireless router? or can this be fixed?

It sounds like the wireless portion of the router has failed.  One more thing to try - press and hold the reset button on the back of the router for at least 10 seconds.  That will return the router to its default settings.  Once reset, see if the wireless light lights up and you can connect.
