Desktop stopped connecting to Internet
I use wireless router and cable internet. My laptops are able to connect to the internet wireless. My Dell desktop suddenly stopped connecting to internet. It is wired to the router.
I use levelOne router.
I did try to connect my desktop wired to cable modem instead of router and still it does not connect.
I did release/renew ipconfig, it does not assign a ip address.

jatinr,
Did you try powering the modem(s)/router(s) off for 30 seconds, then turn them back on and also restart your computer?

Try and uninstall all the associated drivers and restart your computer. I had a similar problem using the USB wireless adapter to connect to a home router. You also might want to flush your dns cachet after you open the IP config I'm sure you're probably aware of this you must also sign on as administrator. When opening the command prompt. Can think of anything else hope this helps.
