difficulty with Westell Wirespeed modem

You need to provide more details.  Explain what you mean that you can't use it.  What happens when you try?  How are you trying to connect to the modem?

I'm trying to connect to a wireless network (unsuccessfully).  Apparently there is a compatability issue with Dell wireless adapters & Westell modems. 

 

I was able to find a Dell Knowledgebase Article that may help however.

Yes, there is a problem with specific models of Westell modem/routers and a specific model of Dell wireless adapter.   Make sure you have the specific models of both before trying that solution.
