Dimension 2300 ethernet controller drivers......
I have looked around for the past two days for these drivers. I had to reload XP, I found the monitor drivers but, cannot find these on the Device Manager the ethernet controller shows up with a "Yellow" Question mark and the detail shows no drivers....
can anyone help? Thanks,

Jim,
When you installed Xp, did you install the desktop/notebook system software and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Notebook system software and the chipset drivers, the follow the list. Everything should start working.

Thanks for the fast reply. I didn't install the chipset first. I can get the chipset from the drivers section on this board, install them and I should be in good shape?
