dimension 9100

I bought a new Dimension 9100 less than 2 months ago. The frist tower went out in 10 days, the second one, in less than 4 days the windows went crazy. I had to do a complete computer restore on it, Dell is wothless with their customer service, they will not do anything about it. I was on the phone, chat, and e-mail with them for several weeks, untill the time frame was lasped to return the thing.I also am still having trouble with the no interest rate untill 2007.. They are charging me 19.99% instead of  0% intill 2007.  I am a disabiled person, a widow. I waited 3 years to buy me a new one(all the bells and whislles on it) thinking it would last me a very long time. If anyone has not bought from Dell maybe you should re-think buying from them. I sure wished I had not.  My next step in the local news channel, I have contacted them to see if they can help me get out of this Dell nightmare.

You lost two new computers within a very short time?  VERY, VERY unusual unless there is a power supply issue in your residence.

The the dial up modem went out on the frist computer, the windows program in the second one had problems with it. Such as going to a Professional xp screen to install it, and locking up the computer. I have windows xp home edition. Dell walked me through the complete restore, and told me that windows program was not under warranty, so they would not replace that tower unless it had hard drive problems. I still have problems with the windows xp, i get error messeages constantly, asking to send  error reports and so on.  yes i thought it was very unusual also. And very disappointing and costly for a product that does not work well and a company that will not stand behind their product.
