I don't have my new computer yet; but I am reading about using a direct cable connection (parallel crossover cable) between my old win95 computer and the new XP computer, in order to transfer files from the old to the new.
I could well be wrong, but I am left with the impression that the host should be the computer with the higher operating system, ie XP.
