Disconnected Hardware

Recently, my laptop stopped connecting to my home network. I've tried trouble shooting the system. Everything is o.k. on the host computer. When trying to troubleshoot the laptop a get a message that my network connections are disconnected. Since the connections are cards and the cables are all hooked up on the host, I'm not sure what the problem is.

My laptop an Inspiron 8600

The cards are Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3A miniadapter
                        Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller

Any thoughts would be appreciated. THanks.

Have you gotten this fixed? If not please try toggling the FN+F2 to enable the wireless radio. If this does not work please go to Start > Run and type cmd once the black box appears type IPCONFIG /ALL and then post the results back here.
