Docked Latitude D610 and problems with OfficeBridge

I have 2 new Latitude D610 that cannot connect to my Fax server using OfficeBridge. Both error out, indicating network issues. Both of them can print to network printers and use other resources without a problem. Both are assigned static IP for the wired network, both can ping the fax server. I have several desktops using this app with no problems.

 

I suspect that there is a network setup problem of some sort but I have not been able to pin it down.  I have noticed that when the systems are docked, they still appear to be attempting to find a wireless network. Is there a way to configure them so that if they are docked, they do not search for wireless? I cannot disconnect the wireless permanently as the users will be travelling and will  need that available.
