DOWNLOAD

HELLO:
 
I AM TRYING TO DOWNLOAD NORTON ANTIVIRUS TO MY DESKTOP AND I KEEP GETTING A MESSAGE "ERROR OCCURED COMMUNICATING WITH SERVER!  PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE INTERNET CONNECTION AND YOUR PROXY SETTINGS (IF ANY) ARE CORRECTLY SPECIFIED.
 
I HAVE DSL AND HAVE INTERNET SERVICE.  WHAT IS GOING ON?

Have you checked under your internet options to make sure your privacy and security settings are set to medium?

I CHECKED MY SETTINGS. THEY ARE SET AT MEDIUM.  WHAT ELSE CAN I TRY?  I'M STILL GETTING THE SAME MESSAGE.  I DOWNLOADED THE SAME PROGRAM ON MY SECOND COMPUTER JUST FINE.

Is it possible you already have a virus program? If so you will need to remove it through the add/ remove program. Or you may have a virus already on your computer? Go to this link to scan for viruses. http://service.symantec.com/sa Also you may want to clean out your windows temp. folder to allow more room for the download temp files.
