Driver for my ethernet controller won't install
I have an xps all in one dell computer. I tried to uninstall the ethernet controller after it stopped working. I thought I'd be able to install it with my drivers disc that came with the computer but that didn't work. I can't seem to find anything on this website that will help me fix it. I also called dell but I have to pay $50.00 which I don't have for them to help me. Can anyone explain to me how you install drivers for an ethernet controller?

When you say it didn't work what do you mean?
Also do you have a one or a one A2420?
What version of Windows are you running?

My electric went out one day and when my computer started back up it said I had no ethernet controller installed. That's why it's not working. Also I have the one version with windows vista.

It kinda sounds like there might have been an electrical spike with the outage - and may be something (your ethernet controller possibly) got fried?!
If you know the service tag for your machine you should be able to download any drivers (and updates) from the support centre (or whatever it's called)...
