Driver not installed (error 28)

Hi everyone, I'm bit of a beginner and have just got my first ever router which connects from router to computer with an Ethernet Cable, but in Device Manager there is a yellow warning symbol and when I clicked on it the message said 'Drivers for this Device are not installed (error 28)' After searching on the internet for what it means it seems that I have to install the driver from Dell as thats the manufacturer of my computer - problem is, my computer at home (I'm using someone else's today) won't connect to the internet at all so I can't download anything on my own computer. If I can find out what it is I need to install, would I be able to download it to a disc and then install it on my own computer?

Its Dell Optiplex GX260 and Windows XP. If I searched for it on this site how would I know what driver I need to install?

By the way its Windows XP-Pro if that makes a difference? And its the driver for the Ethernet connection which would go to my router. (This is like a foreign language to me!)
