Drivers For Ethernet

I lost my hard drive and have installed a new one today.

I'm not able to get on the internet and Comcast says I need one of the following drivers:

Ethernet card or adapter driver,
Network interface card driver, or
Local internet adapter driver.

Can you tell me which driver I need?

I have a Dell Dimension 9100.  I connect with an Ethernet cable to a cable modem.

Thanks in advance.

Before installing any other drivers, you need to install the chipset drivers.   This is a must.   All drivers for you system can be downloaded from the following site:

Once the chipset drivers are installed you need to install the drivers for the Intel Pro VE network adapter.   It is likely that you also need to install the drivers for your video adapter, audio adapter (sound card), and modem.
