DSL connection to new Studio Slim
My current DSL modem has a USB port connection. As I read the manual for my Studio Slim it looks to me as if I have to connect my internet connection to the ethernet port... Am I just reading this wrong? Can I hook the modem in through the USB port as well???
On a side note: I do need to get a new modem because the router I purchased is an ethernet only connection... But while waiting for the new modem I'd like to use the new Dell until it arrives.
Thanks,
Rob.

A heads up. Many DSL "modems" that you get are actually a modem + router in one. My Verizon DSL "modem" is like that. So you have to jump through some hoops if you want to use the DSL "modem" with an existing router.
My Verizon DSL "modem" also has the option to hook up via USB. I never used it. I prefer Ethernet.
