e1505 internet driver issue (help, really....)

Question

okay, earlier today i checked on that weird dell thingy that appears in the bottom right hand corner of the comptuer, that says what you gotta to do make your system run properly, you know?   well, it said to update my pro intel internet thingy, so trusting the system, i downloaded and began to install it   when installation began, it unzipped, executed, and began to remove my old driver set and program, and begin to replace it with the new one. along the way i hit a couple of errors that were expected by the program, but about ~80% through, it canceled the EXE thingy  and quit on me, i am yusing an inspiron E1505 that is about a little over a year old. anybody got any suggestions or solutions before i pull my hair out going crazy over this thingy?

Try using System Restore to restore you computer to a time just before you attempted to install the update.  Don't try updating again unless you are having a problem that the update will solve.    Steve

AH, i knew there was an easy fix that i just missed! thanks!   lol, just saying system restore could'a helped :P   today is just not my day, but then again, it is friday the 13'th so i don't think that anybody is having a good day >.<
