Enabling MAC Access Control disables access
OK - I thought that this one would be fairly obvious but....
I enabled MAC access control having already input the MAC addresses into the web based configuration tool. However, it blocks out my laptop from the system. I have double checked the MAC address.
I did wonder if perhaps my wireless card in the laptop had a different MAC address to the one shown in the IPCONFIG/ALL screen (It is a WLAN 802.11g mini PCI Module) but I cant find out how to check this!
The IPCONFIG/ALL gives me a physical address for a MAC Bridge Miniport.
The laptop is an Acer Ferrarri btw - if that helps anyone :)
Any help would be very much appreciated

OK - I think that I have solved the problem. The "Network Bridge" seemed to be blocking everything, even though there was no firewall or anything on it!
I just deleted the network bridge and no it all works!

Go to your Control panel, then in there you should your Truemobile WLAN control utility, double click on it then select the information tab, there it should show the MAC address of the card. If not post more info.
