error loading network driver

Every time I turn on my aging latitude cpi-a series notebook, I get a message stating error 7323.  Failure to load device driver NDISHLP.SYS.

C:\>C:\PROGRA"1\COMMON"1\NETWOR"1\VIRUSS"1\40"1.XX\scanpm.exe C:\

What's this mean? I still use windows 98 se.  I have a linksys-B wireless usb adapter which I need to reinstall almost everytime I use it.

Run a virus scan on your machine. Housecall is a free online virus scanner available at Trend Micro's page.
