Ethernet card- intermittent connection
Hi, I got myself a wireless ADSL router.
I am trying to configure this using the LAN connection and the ethernet card. The connection on the router to broadband is fine, but I cannot get a connection via the Ethernet card.
It intermittadly gets a connection and then goes back to unplugged. Is there a fault with the card, or is the configuration wrong? I tried taking it off auto detect and selecting 10Mbps Full and the connection is better, but still intermitent.
Please help, I want to get off this hideous dial up connection
tks

I am having a similar problem. My wireles network has been working fine and then nothing. the wireles network is working and my isp sees me but my computer does not think it is connected. I even plugge into my port omn my computer and it does not react. The little light does not come on next to the port. Did my card just break?
