? Ethernet Controller
I recently had to reinstall windows on my Dimension 4550 and once I had reinstalled I get both a error message in the device manager for both the Ethernet Controller and the SM Bus Controller. Can you explain where I can find the necessary drivers which I lack. I have checked the Resource CD, the internet, Dell support and I still have nothing.

If the Ethernet controller is the Intel 10/100 onboard chipset, it's here.
Here's the complete list of XP drivers for the Dimension 4550, and all the XP Reinstall Guides.
You'll need to register with Dell Support if you haven't already done so.
