explorer problem

Question

when I try to launch explorer I get the following message runtime error c:program files\ internet explorer \explore.exe   when I look on microsoft it says it's a worm but when I run my security software it says there's no problem I looked for the disk to reinstall explorer - but I have disks for microsft works, dell disks etc. but nothing that says microsoft office   at the moment explorer is working on one of the user accounts on the pc but not on others   any guidance gratefully accepted! I seem not even to be able to spell my screen name correctly (can I change it?)

My advice is not to use IE ever.  Too many holes for hackers to explote.  My advice is to use another browser.  I use avant browser but there are tons.  http://www.download.com/Browsers/3150-2356_4-0.html?tag=dir
