This error is usually due to some 3rd Party Browser extension/toolbar/BHO (Browser helper Object) that you have added to Internet Explorer. The commonest ones reported are the Google Toolbar, and McAfee's Anti-Phishing utility.
The solution is to disable or uninstall the application. If you use Google's Toolbar, uninstall from your Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs. If this eliminates the error, you can then re-add the Google toolbar.
If this is not the problem, then in Internet Explorer, click on Tools> Manage Add-Ons. In the drop-down box, select "Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer". Then disable them, one by one, closing and restarting IE after each entry is disabled, til you find the culprit. (To disable, hi-lite the entry and click the disable toggle at the bottom of the list. If the selection was not the culprit, you can re-enable it.)
had same prblem with new 310. went to addons and disabled mcafee anti-phishing which worked to get other users logged on. question is, is disabling anti-phishing a problem?
