failure to connect to msn.com/

About 2 weeks ago I lost my home page. When I type in www.msn.com I am redirected to http://dell.v14.msn.com/. I cant even get to MSN.com any more. I have searched on the web and the only answers seem to be re-install Windows. I am not tech savy and do not want to try this. Dell support tried to direct me to fee based support because it was a "software issue". I think this is something Dell did and I am not willing to pay for it. Any thoughts

Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:

Try clearing your internet cache/deleting your temporary files, then logging into the MSN website again?

Weird?

What system are you using, what OS are you running, and what version of IE is it?

If its working in Mozilla and not in IE, then it must be one of the Addons or a browser high jack which is causing the problem, Try resetting IE, if its older version of IE, try to upgrade it to IE 8

They also offered me a Fee based warrenty $269   I didnt change any settings, they said they know the problem but can not tell me or fix it without the FEE

This is Dell deciding for you which sites you can see. It sucks. And to add insult to injury, they hijack your homepage with a dead link! Take a look here and see if any of this helps. I finally got to MSN.com.
