Fedora Core 4 on Dimension 9100 ethernet problems

My onboard ethernet in Dell's Dimension 9100 is not being recognized by FC4 linux (I'm dual booting).  Has anyone else had this problem?  I am trying to search for a driver, but I really don't know where to start.  I know intel makes it for MS, and XP calls it "Intel PRO/100 VE network connection," but beyond this I'm clueless.  Onboard sound doesn't work either, but I don't really care.  Someone help, please?

I realize that, but there's a whole hodge podge of onboard LAN compatability issues out there, I want someone who knows specifically about mine.  I had the same problem w/ RH9 running on my ABIT board w/ onboard NVIDIA LAN, and it got fixed because NVIDIA ended up making a Linux compatible driver.  Unless Intel wants to make a Linux driver, I'm stuck.  I might have to try and install an ethernet card, but switching the cable every time I change the OS isn't exactly ideal.

Have you tried the downloads section?  It gives you the option to put in the penguin system as an OS of choice.

Yea, I've tried it. For Linux, they only have BIOS updates, and such. I ended up getting a NIC instead of my onboard LAN, which will have to work for now.....
