File and Printer Sharing

I have left File and Printer sharing off on our wirleless network. However, sharing a printer would be nice for those laptop moments.  Would there be a security issue with turning File and Printer Sharing on?

Our network is on a WEP key and has MAC address filtering, so realistically I'm thinking it is relatively secure.... Also, the Shared Folder is empty.... Only sharing the printer.... Any reason NOT to do this? I've heard that File and Printer Sharing can be a security problem...

Windows Firewall is on... The Network Connection is already configured...  I got the printer working remotely.. Just want to make sure there is no security problem...

If you don't have any drives or folders shared, or the only shared folder is empty, then with MAC address filtering on and encryption on, you are relatively safe. (Once again, I don't understand what helmecj is saying)
