file folder (content.IE5) under local settings

Question

When I am perusing through the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer using the 'next' click on button, pictures appear that are located under Documents & Settings/name/local settings/temporary internet files/content.IE5/files.  When I look under the temporary internet files folder, I cannot see/view the folder content.IE5 where these files are located.  Where is it and why cannot I see this folder.  I CAN delete these pictures/files through the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer screen, and they do delete, ending up in the recycle bin.  But there are so many!!  Obviously these files are being downloaded as I go through the internet, but what tells them to do just that, or what setting is there to NOT do this, or why can I NOT see the content.IE5 file folder.  I know this is goofy, but can anyone give me an idea? fred

Your folder options are set to not allow you to view hidden files and systems files.   To change the settings, open Windows Explorer and click on Tools > Folder Options, then click on the View tab.   Steve
