firewall on 1185 router

Question

the firewall on my 1185 router won't let me view my friends yahoo webcams, also does not let me send files such as pictures through yahoo.  anyone ever have this problem i never had this problem untill i got the wireless router.  i talked to dell service and they were supposed to email me some procedures to try and they never did.  Go figure all i know is this 2000 dollar computer is a piece any help would be greatly appreciated

If your router is the TrueMobile 1184 router, then you need to enable port forwarding. The latest version of firmware enables this. You should also look at the documentation pages online.

Go to the main support site.
Click the Reference tab or link.
Click the User's Guide link.
Click the Network link.
Click the Dell Wireless Access Point/Routers/Gateways link.
Choose the Dell TrueMobile 1184 Wireless Broadband Router link.
Select the [English] button.
Choose the Configuration for Common Senarios link.
Now select the Configuring Your TrueMobile 1184 Router for Gaming link.

1) It a problem with port forwarding on the router...Yahoo's technical pages can help you set it up correctly
2) I dont know why you call the computer a piece, it has nothing to do with why your router is blocking things.
