Hi!
I have the same problem as Thomas below. Fuzzybee gave an answer but I don't understand how to go about do that. Do I have to go to DOS mode or something?
Thanks,
Elmer

I downloaded the R114280 package and installed the new version 10.1.0.0 over the last 9.x version "on the fly". The installation process signaled "replacing driver". All went well, a new icon appeared in the task bar and a pop-up window said that new wireless networks had been detected and I was supposed to click and configure my desired network. I did so and clicked thru some dialogues, but in the end I got this message:"An internal error appeared in the database. Cannot save the profile" ( or similar, in german language).I could only choose to "cancel" and had no connection. Rebooting did not change anything.I uninstalled the software and my previous version appeared, on the fly again and connecting me perfectly. Now what is this "profile" all abou? I had not created a profile in nthe 9.x version of the Intel software/driver. Anybody got a solution for me? Do I miss something if I stick to my current version (which is OK besides the fact that the WiFi LED disappears once in a while)

You should be able to get rid of that database error with R114280 by removing the files that store your wireless profiles. You can delete the "Application Data" by going to where it is stored.
From a cmd shell...
cd %appdata%
cd Intel\Wireless
cd WLANProfiles
del *.*
cd ..\Settings
del *.*
The database error should go away, but you'd need to re-enter your profiles.
