google toolbar in internet explorer

Question

I uninstalled my  google toolbar and desktop because I never use it. Is it ok to uninstall  the url assistant also? I am not sure what  that is, but think it is  packaged as part of the google desktop. Since I am not sure, I was afraid to uninstall it. Thanks for your help

if you are seeing url assistant in add|remove programs then the answer is yes.
