Help Conencting wireless router!!
I have a Range max netgear Wpn824..i jsut installed range max wpn 511 wirless pc card..and now i need help in the setup while installing this wireless router...I cureently run the ethernet cable from the back of my lap top to my sisters room were the Router (Linksys) is on the other computer.. I know i can setup the netgear to this computer..and i need help doing it..It says i have mutliple adapters connected ..blah bkah

Go to device manager and pick Wireless network adapter(s) from the list, expand on the '+' and see which are listed there.

To run wireless from your 6000 once you have set up the software, RIGHT-click the wireless icon in the tray (lower right corner area) and choose 'Show available wireless networks'
What SSID (name) do you see?
DOUBLE-click that (if it is the one in your house) and then click the button 'Connect'
What happens?
Regarding your router question -- there are two ways to connect to a wireless access point:
1) by cable, to configure it (or re-configure)
2) through the air to make use of the connection and the internet
I assume when you are talking about the connection failing you are talking about the latter.
