help help

I'm not sure if I am on the right message board but I have little time before my error messages come up and I have to close down . I keep getting this program has cause an illegal operation and will be shut down the details are

explorer has caused a general protection fault in module user.exe at 0003.00001022 and the other one is kernel32.dll and kernel386.dll I really need help I am a computer dummy . I have called the dell support and they have tried  just about every thing  and plus I did have a hard time understanding what the fellow had to say  but he was real nice. But my problems are still here . Please any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure even if my outlook express works any more so my email is
