HELP! i deleted intel proset software!!
i was trying to clear up some programs on my laptop (dell inspiron n5110) and i mistakenly deleted the intel proset wireless software. the wireless adapter my computer uses is a realtek pcie gbe family controller. i don't know if i need software, drivers, if software and drivers are the same thing. i am really at a loss. i am connected by an ethernet cable for now, but any help would be greatly appreciated!
thank you

Hi atxchris,
The realtek pci gbe family controller is the Ethernet controller for a wired internet connection on your computer. If the wireless drivers are uninstalled accidentally then, it will be listed as 'Network Controller' under 'Other Devices' with a yellow Bang in Device Manager.
Inspiron N5110 is shipped with Intel Centrino Wireless N1000, N1030 and N6230 adapters.
You may download/install the drivers for Intel wireless adpater Here.
You may download/install Bluetooth software from Here.
Please reply if you have any questions. I would be glad to help you.
