Help! Modem ?

I just ordered a XPS 410.  I am home networking with my old Dimension.  I have a high speed cable modem that I am using from my cable co.  I requested no modem be included in the new XPS in order to use the cable modem on it.  I don't need one included, do I?   I hope not!
