HELP!! No networks available

I see the popup that says Wireless Networks Detected, but I am unable to see any networks when I click on "View Available Networks."  My WIFI is on, WZC is started (and his been disabled and re-enabled), and the network card is working.  I don't know what to do.  Please advise.

Is your router set to hide its SSID?

Log in to your router's configuration settings from a computer connected by ethernet to the router.

It does not have anything listed in the box.  It says no AP's active.

As a troubleshooting step, download, install, and run netstumbler.  You can find it by doing a google search.  See if that program can see your network or any others.

Steve,

The router is set to "enable" SSID Broadcast.

Try going into Device Manager and uninstalling your wireless network adpater then rebooting and letting Windows reinstall the drivers.

That did not work either.  This is really bizarre to me.  What else could it be?

sir do u have any security on your router,, if it is there disable that or select WEP 64 bit & give ur 10 digit phone number & disable mac filtering on your router,, i am shure taht you will be knowing how to do it if not let me know,,,,
you can change the wireless card properties also by going to network connections rt click on the wirelss network connection - click on properties under general -  click on cinfigureation tab - go to advance - rt ull see the peoperty lft ull see value,,, change the value for power management, antena divercity, wireless range, if that also dosent work out then,,,

go to this web & select the router u have & upgrade the firmware,,,,
i would have done it for you but you dint tell me wht is the model no for your router,,,

AND IF THIS ALSO DOSENT WORK THE GO IN FOR THE LAST STEP WHICH IS MENTION BELOW,,,

follow these steps:

and follow the step by step resolution

Thanks, Vicky.  I am still unable to connect wirelessly.  I tried everything you suggested.  Maybe I need to just call Linksys.  Any other ideas?
