So all I do is download it which I will have to do from another location other than the computer that is down, once I unzip it then should it be ready to go on the internet?  See I download the driver the tech told me to but when I unzip I guess I'm not sure what I do next.   Sorry to be sooooo dumb about this, but I have worked on this all weekend and still can't get on the internet.  So the only thing I could figure is that its not recognizing the network card that is installed, because I had signficant other open up the panel and its plugged in and it worked before.  Which he is the one who got it in the shape its in now, by deleting Temp files instead of Temp Internet Files.-:smileymad:

Get the file, zipped or unzipped to the computer that will not connect and extract the file to the folder it will provide except add "\NIC" at the end without the quotes because all these drivers are numbered and you can not rememebr what is what.  Extract the file and you will need to go into the folder and run the specific version for your machine and then reboot.
