Help! Wirelss Intrnt Gone Missing~

Question

I've recieved news from my Gf's Pc that she recently down-graded her Laptop( Inspiron 9300) from Vista back to XP accidently thought of thinking she had a virus. Anyway; Her latop now doesnt seem to have the option to view her Wireless network, the bottom right of her Taskbar doesnt show the wireless icon anymore, and when i serach in control panel into the 'Networking section' i view the network connection she has, but all was there is 'LOCAL AREA CONNECTION' like many other laptop that inlcudes wireless it normally shows ' WIRELESS CONNECTION' but now this laptop doesnt. I checked in Device manager and there is no sign of any wireless Networking of some kind. Please help!~ im a HP/Sony user so i dont know alot about Dell computers.

did she reload the wireless drives for the adapter

here's the link to the wireless drivers page for her system..she will need to know which card is installed to get the proper drivers..

just reinstall the drivers for the wireless card/adapter.... it will solve the problem....
