Click start. In search type
bttray.exe
Hit enter. This should put the bluetooth icon in the system tray(near clock) You should then be able to turn the adapter on

Rick! thanks for answering... I did as you told me, but no icon appeared. Though it shows itself in the processes list at the task manager.

Try start, control panel, windows mobility center. You can also activate it from there.
