When you get the error, does it ask to send an error report to Microsoft?  If so, there should be a link in the error message to view the contents of the error report.  Click on that link and write and down and report here the AppName and ModName involved in the error.  With that we may be able to help.  Note also that many problems with internet explorer are due to spyware.  Have you checked your system for spyware and removed all that is found?

This maybe of some help, Click on Start,Programs then
on accessories then on Command Prompt ,Just type in sfc
 in the Command Prompt display.
Then after that comes up with the information type in sfc/scannow
and let it checkyour files for errors.
This works for windowsxp, hope this helps

Try putting a space between the "c" and the "/" i.e.   sfc /scannow, not sfc/scannow

What about the error report?

Type in www.google.com  and in the search window type in macromedia flash player, when that comes up click on macromedia flash player download center and that is the first wqeb site listed. If you have any problems just type them in google search even if it errors that you receive and 98% of the time it will give you the answers. Hope this helps
