Okay go into router setup menu (http://192.168.2.1) then click the advance settings at the top, then put a CHECK in the hide my wireless network box.
if you want to make it more secure add WEP to your security.. I'm not sure how to do it.. I'm sure some one here will help.

Thanks guys. I tried that and it works. Hopefully it won't raise new issues.

Give WEP a pass and enable WPA for much better security against sniffers and such. The built-in help screen in the router explains it pretty well. You may need to update the driver for your wifi card to support WPA.
