Hi there Kevin -
Have you enabled file sharing on the machine you want to copy data from (or both if you want to be able to connect to either from either)?
Not sure what OS you're running, but either Vista or XP, it's basically the same. Right click on the folder you want to share and choose to enable sharing. Once you've created a shared directory, you should be able to access it from the other machine by going
start -> run -> \\machine\sharedfolder (replace machine with the computer name and sharedfolder with the share you created.
The official from MS is here (XP) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040 and (Vista) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspx#EDAA
Hope that helps!

Jason
Thanks to you I got it. One computor has XP and the new one Vista. Workgroup names were different. Had to match them up. XP uses MSHOME while Vista uses WORKGROUP. Also changing some other setting in Vista did the trick.
Thanks again
