How can mail be deleted from ISP when mail is received by either computer

I have a 2-computer LAN using WXP and Outlook on both. I have to download emails to both before the emails will delete from the ISP. Is there a setting that will allow an email to be deleted from the ISP no matter which machine is used?

Thanks.

It sounds like you have "leave mail on server" selected on one machine, but not the other.

This  link to Yahoo Help explains how to fix that.

However, if you wish to mirror the message bases so that both computers have all messages downloaded, you will need to keep one of them set to not delete messages on download. If this is not something you are concerned about, then go ahead.

I personally leave them on for 2 weeks to ensure I have copies on both machines.

Thanks. I just recently needed an email on both machines! I'll have to make some adjustments.

There are a number of ways to do it. You could export from one Outlook to the other to insure that both have the same set of messages or have only one machine delete from the server.
