Is there a wireless network card and drivers installed on your computer?  If so, you should be ready to go.  Right click on the wireless network icon in the tray.  Select View Available Networks.  You should then see the name you gave your network in the list and be able to select it to connect.  If you are using security, it will ask you for the key, if not you have to check a box.  Then you should connect.
