How do I fix this?
This is exactly what I've done. Do I uninstall drivers and redo? How can I fix this mistake? Del Vostro 1500 xp
Did you install the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order You should be able to start with these drivers and install from there. You can run Finding System Information (remove your product Id if you post it back here)and at the bottom, it will state your network adapters. You can also go to Drivers & Downloads click on waranty status and enter your service tag number. Then click on origional configuration. There it will tell you the network adapters that came with your system. Rick

mcktheknf,
When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Start with the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

The first thing I installed was Dell Media Direct then the Operating System and finally Microsoft software. All the drivers
installed and the computer works fine except there is a yellow question mark in Desk Manager for Network Controls. I've tried everything and I can't get a Wireless driver to install in Network Connections. I have no access to my Touch Pad also. The Touch Pad works fine but there is no adjustment for it. Thanks greatly for your help. Rick

I downloaded Drivers and Utilities also. I believe it was installed after the Operating System?

I did not add System Utilities from the Drivers and Utilities cd until after all the drivers were installed
