How do I remover Dell Networking Assistant

I tried "Add Remove Programs" in Control panel but when I located Dell Networking Assistant there was not the usual button that I could click to remove it.

Help! I downloaded it although my network was working fine. I fond it annoying waiting for it to initialize.

Please give me some alternatives ways to uninstall it other than thru the control panel.

Thanks

When I found that the Dell Networking Assistant was so full of bugs, I removed it using Control Panel Add/Remove programs.  Removing it any other way would be very painful because it would involve editing the registry and finding all instances that need to be removed.  I therefore do not recommend doing this.  Instead, I would reinstall it, then immediately go to Add/Remove programs and hopefully it will be there ready to remove.

Thanks Steve.  Again you've helped me.  When I attempted to download Dell Networking Assistant it must have detected that the program was already present and gave me the option to uninstall.

Again thanks

Hey, while I got you can you give me some advice on what may be causing IE 6.0 to load so slow?  It takes 40 to 60 seconfs to start.  Firefox loads immeadiately.

If this is not the place to ask, ignore this.  I appreciate your help on the uninstall of Dell Networking Assistant.

Have you checked your system for spyware with more than one antispyware program?  I recommend Spybot, Ad-Aware to remove most of the existing spyware, and Microsoft Windows Defender to remove the rest and to run in the background to keep this garbage off your computer.   All of these programs are free and can be easily find using the Google search engine.

I have tried to remove through Add/Remove programs and continually get a 1306 error message that states Another application has exclusive access to the file 'C:\Program Files\Dell Network Assistant\Logs\ezi_hnm.log'

It then recommends shutting down all apps, then click retry. I have tried that and still get the message. Any ideas how to rid myself of this fairly useless application??

You might want to try to remove it like I did.  Go to the page on Dell where you can download the program and click on it as if you are going to download it.  When you do this,  the installation program will detect that it is already on your machine and prompt you to either "repair" it or "uninstall" it.  Click on "uninstall" and you'll be rid of it...hopefully.
