How to disable internal network card?

I want disable my inspiron's internal 811b card and use upgrade netgear 811g pc card. Can someone supply the 411? Thanks in advance.

[Windows XP]

Start|Network Connections

Right click on the connection. In the pop up menu, select Disable.

You should also be able to disable the card in BIOS. Do that and Windows won't even see it.

Hi,

The internal wireless card call be disabled in
1)Bios
2)Network Connections
3)Device manager.

I suggest u disable it in the network connections ,so that u can revert it back with less effort if u need to.
