I Need Ethernet Driver!!!

Question

Hi, I was wondering if you guys could help me with my problem.. Let me give you some background info... I just finnished formatting my computer recently and I turned out losing some of my most important drivers: Ethernet Controller, Multimedia Audio Controller, and Sm Bus Controller.   Do you think you could help me with the Ethernet Controller at least??  Where can I find thie dirver or which one do I install?   I would really apreciate the help. Thanks

No one can answer unless you post your OS, the model of your computer as well as the ethernet card. If you go to your Dell downloads (above, under Product Support) you can find most of the drivers you need.

Sorry About that lol..... I have Windows Xp Sp1 it is a Dell Dimension 4550, the actual name of the Ethernet Controller I don't know that is the problem and its not listed in the Device Manager.

The first thing you need to do after a reinstallation of Windows is to install the chipset drivers, then the other drivers for your system. See the following document and look under the topic "Install Drivers and Software":
