I8600 wireless notebook to existing wireless network?

I have a Inspiron 8600 coming in about a week or so.  It'll have the Intel wireless lan inside.  I already have a I8100 laptop with a PCMCIA wireless card connecting to a Microsoft 802.11b wireless router.

My question is:  When I turn on my "new" I8600, will it automatically try to connect to my wireless router?  Does it have some sort of wizard that will try and figure the settings?  Or will I have to turn the wireless connection on (don't know if it's always on or not) and configure it to my existing Microsoft 802.11b wireless router?

Thanks for any info. you can give.

I have the Dell 1300 adapter so I don't know if it works the same, but I believe it will try to connect when you turn it on.  It will fail though if you are using the security encryption and you will need to enter the key into the PC.  There is no wizard but if you don't auto connect, right click on the wireless terminal icon, select view available networks, you can enter the key and select connect.  That should get you online, if not, there are some other things to try.

You may want to load the software to manage your router and help you do things like access drives and printers on other machines.  Mine is called Microsoft Broadband Network Utility.
