IE 7.0

Question

Not sure if this is the right place to be but here goes. Has anyone downloaded the new IE 7.0? I have and every time I go to do something a box from IE saying blank page appears every time and when I 'x' it off everything on my computer flickers for a while then the box goes off the screen. Is this normal or what is going on? Never had a problem with IE 6.0 like this. Why does this box always appear saying blank page and when I x it off everything on my computer flickers for a while then the box disappears. Not sure if I'm liking this. Any suggestions or fixes?

hmm, I tried the IE7 beta and never had that problem!

The 'blank page' is the default home page whenyou create a new tab.

Okay thanks. Do you have any idea how do I stop this from popping up all the time?

IE>Tools>Internet Options (Home Page Option)  Change it to whatever you like.

I'm having problems with the IE about blank page, popping up when I first start windows vista, and I have to close it all the time. Is there a way to disable that ???

about:blank is the Home Page.  very safe in my opinion

No hon, there's nothing on the page, when it's on my monitor. It just pops up there, and stays there till I close it. It's a blank page
