IE7 Help Please

I am experiancing a problem in IE7 which I can't seem to resolve and I am not sure if it is browser or website related.
The problem occurs when attempting to use the "innertube" viewer located at cbs.com (used for viewing select CBS shows).

When I click on anything to open the viewer((from the CBS webpage) it opens but does nothing. When I close it I get the "internet explorer has encounter a problem and must close" window. After clicking the send or don't send report the web page then hangs and IE7 does not close. When attempting to close the webpage I then get "application not responding" message and have to close browser thru that route.

I have reviewed the IE7 release notes, relaxed everything in the tools menu to minimum values, allowed all active X options, tried starting IE without addons and checked firewall/AV settings.........................any suggestions as to what I may be missing or could try???

The IE must close details show the AppName as iexplore.ex and the ModName as "unknown".

Sounds like it is a site that is not I.E.7 compatible.  The Dell forum was like that until they did an update.  Go to the Windows site and download the "user agent string utility".  You can run that and I.E.7 will open and look like I.E.6 to a web site - see if that fixes the problem.  Again we had to use that with the Dell site until they updated.

Thanks for the input. I tried the "string utility" prior to reading your email with the same results.
What I failed to realize was I needed Adobe flash viewer for their viewer which I installed and I can now use the viewer but when exiting the viewer I get the same results I mentioned earlier.
Unforunately Yahoo toolbar automatically installs with the Adobe viewer. Removed that and kept Adobe viewer with same results.

I like the new IE7, installed about 4 weeks ago with not much problems but I also just returned from vacation and computer sat idle for nearly 2 weeks.
If problem persists I may do a system restore back to before I installed IE7.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

You started the String Utility before IE 7 correct?
