Arg! It just did it again at about 7:45PM Eastern for 10-20 seconds. Actually it seems to always be happening around this time but I don't do anything different from all the others times.
*Update*
It did it again at 8:17PM for about 7-8 seconds.

just a guess but what is your router Lease time for assigned IP address set on. my is set for every 2 weeks. when you said it happens about the same time.
I did ipconfig /all in the command line and it tells me this:
Lease Obtained Friday, January 6, 2006 at 1:24:37 PM
Lease Expires Monday, January 9, 2006 at 1:24:37PM
If that is local time it should have happened hours ago. Also this is happening everyday, not every couple days.
Also, it is only affecting this computer. I tried browsing the internet on another computer while this one is not reciveing data and the other wireless computer browses fine.

Read the bottom of
this page about cordless phones and interference. It's very possible that you are getting hit by a neighbor using their cordless phone. If that's the case then try changing channels on the router. There are a bunch of 802.11b/g networks near my house and several 2.4GHz cordless phones too. This is why I had to get an 11a/b/g card and an 11a/b/g wireless Access Point. At home I have to use 802.11a in order to avoid interference with everyone else.
I'm experiencing similar problems. I'm loosing a connecion after a minute. What I did notice in my case is that the connection is not dropped when I have my power cable connected. Might be the same in your case...
So maybe something to do with power management? But first I'm updating the driver software as suggested by Boppo. Thanks for that already.
I had a similar problem with a netgear wgr614 wireless router. I had downloaded the latest firmware from netgear to enable hiding to network id and afterwards the router had dropped connection periodically. I enabled packet bursting and the allowed mac addresses on the router and the connection does not drop. Also, I noticed on some routers that using different encryption on the same network causes the dhcp address not to be updated and windows balloon help shows limited network connectivity for the adapter.
I tried taking out and putting back the card, but that didn't work.
How could I nail it down to being interfence? I am doubtful that is the case because nothing else on my network goes down, just this one computer. Also, wouldn't interfence just lower the data stream, not drop it to 0?

How would I go about enabling packet bursting? I checked my router documentation and could not find anything about it.
