Inspiron 600m

Right at this moment I am on a Inspiron 1100, and the cable internet works.  Yet when I try to use my 600m it tells me that there is little to no conectivity. How can I fix it?

You need to tell us more about the network.  What are you connecting to (directly to a cable modem or through a router)?  Are you trying to connect by wired ethernet or wireless?  Has the 600m ever been able to connect or did it just suddenly stop being able to connect?

Directly to a cable modem. Not sure if thats enough info.

Whenever you change the computer connected to a cable modem you have to reset the modem.  To do this shut down the computer and the modem.  Wait a few minutes.  Turn on the modem and wait another 5 or so minutes for the modem to synchronize with the network.  Then, plug the computer into the modem and restart the computer.

It might be a better idea to plug the modem into a switch or router then plug the different machines into that. In that set up , I don't think you'd have to reset the modem each time you changed machines.
